Transformative
My G&L Tribute ASAT Special is the first guitar I've ever bought. When I bought it, I had no clue about the different types of pickups and whatnot that could be purchased. I just knew I wanted a Tele. Unfortunately, ASAT Specials are NOT Teles! Needless to say, I have not been happy with the tone of the ASAT Special since I bought it. Then I found Vintage Tallboy pickups from Rio Grande and I cannot put this guitar down! It has that classic Tele tone, yet isn't too brittle or harsh sounding. I'll definitely be swapping out the neck pickup next.
