51 P Bass Reissue
Got a Sire 51 Reissue...really came out of the box sounding good...swapped out stock pickups with Rio Grande 51 Reissue PU...how do you describe the difference...present, punchier, tighter, deeper...guys in the band took notice from the first note...highly recommend

Vintage Smooth!
I've played bass for 35 year mainly Blues and Rock and have owned and played basses from most manufacturers. I got the itch for a new bass but couldn't fine one that had just what I was hunting so I built my own guitar. I researched every part and when it came to my pickups they had to come from Texas and had to be Rio Grande. I placed a Vintage 51 in the neck and a Muy Grande Powerbucker at the bridge now there is no need to change out guitars for certain songs. I can blend the pickups and find any sound I need and even better what I want. The Fenders, Warwicks, G&L's and Rick's are all stored away and a little homemade bass is center stage! Life is good!
